Through sustainability, Wal-Mart has saved millions of dollars in costs and has begun to drive profitable product innovation. Our goal: offer our customers an increasing volume of affordable, sustainable products that help them live better every day. The CEO Sustainability Summit will accelerate this work by bringing Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club product suppliers together with expert resources to help suppliers innovate toward sustainability.
In addition to a CEO dialogue with Wal-Mart executives, the event will include a Sustainability Resource Fair featuring dozens of experts who can help suppliers drive innovation and create value for their businesses. Experts will represent academia, consulting firms, industry, and non-governmental organizations, many of whom have already assisted Wal-Mart’s sustainability efforts.
